NEWSPAPER AND ONLINE COVERAGE OF NICK BEER 10K RACE

Update by Don Hale. Photographs by Steve Jeffery.

It was great to see that the local media including NW Sport, North Wales Pioneer and the North Wales Weekly News all gave good coverage of my reports and Steve’s photographs about the Nick Beer 10k race which had to be re-scheduled due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

I was pleased for the race organisers John and Kay Hatton, and Carla Green and the team, plus all the volunteers, marshalls and runners, who all contributed towards the success of this important club event.

I ran a general report, plus a feature on the Inter-Counties race – won by North Wales – and also on the substantial GOG entry, with most of the details re-used by the media organisations.
